Hi,

you gave very little information

Some questions :

- Does it play in your PC ?
- Do you get any message in your DVD Player ?
- Does it play in another DVD Player ? from a friend .... etc ?

You should :

- in (AVI2ISO) Video Encoding Tab, select your region PAL or NTSC
- use good media type, like VERBATIM  DVD-R ( it is more compatible with most players )
- reduce the burning speed down to 8x
- burn the disk using DVD Shrink or ImgBurn

Give some more detailed information

sorry should have been more specific.
I have video files in avi that need to be converted to DVD format.
I am using avi2iso. In second preference I Know somewhat
I add file to be converted in pal mode
after file is saved i burn it using nero express on a maxell dvd-rw so i dont waste by dvds.
it plays on computer but i get a incompatible on one DVD Player message or play back may not be available on disk on another tv with DVD player built in.
i have used the DVD shrink before just backing up dvds and its work but not when i convert.
I will try a slower speed.

But where are you from ? where do you live ? your IP is from USA....which uses NTSC format

If your player is Region Locket and if you in fact live in USA...then you can't play PAL

It all depends if your player is region free, and what type of AVI Source you're trying to convert

Don't use Nero Express, use ImgBurn or DVD Shrink to burn

And Verbatim, as far as I know gives less problems, is a good DVD manufacturer

As I said, if you live in USA....convert always in NTSC format   ( Video Encoding Tab in AVI2ISO )

Nowadays there is DVD players that are region free, yours seems to be very old

try what I said

DVD Shrink can also burn without "shrink"....

Nero is not so good as ImgBurn

use DVD Shrink or ImgBurn

As more passes you do more quality you will get

But you can just use 1 pass, is up to you

Yes, it will work, if you have the right codecs installed. You should always check the original source with Media Player Classic

make sure you have last version 2.10.00 RC1 and not Beta
