Hi,

I'm trying to create menus for my DVD. I've created the mpegs with my background image (using "Customize menus") and they appear when I run the DVD. However, I don't get any text, just the image and two yellow dots (or, on the chapter menu, the yellow underlines when I move the cursor over the hotspot). Do I need to add the text myself ("Play"/"Chapters") to my GIF?

Thanks.

That's very strange

I made a test and the text appeared along with the yellow dots

The text is also yellow, if your background image is yellow then the text will be overwritten

Did you tried to see the DVD in your standalone player ?

Menus is something that must be totally reviewed with avi2iso, is one of the major drawbacks of the program

Strange. No, the image is black and white and the yellow dots (and underlines) are visible, but no text. Do I have to add anything or do anything special?

I wouldn't call the menus a "major drawback", because the rest of AVI2ISO is so good and works well - I can forgive the menus  Smiley

lol, yeah....awful

I must do a lot of job in menus, that should be done, I promise

Recently a made the version RC to give full multi-track support. It seems that is working well, no complains

Anyway, try in another PC with a fresh install and using only the defaults

You can use a sample big enough, say 50MB

New PC, fresh install of XP and AVI2ISO etc, same results. Oh well, not a big problem, I still get my DVD to watch  Smiley
