Requesting Alternate to RapidShare for New Releases

I'll never spend money on their membership. Without a membership they'll never be consistently obliging in making a posted file available to free users like myself. Take today for instance - they woefully lament: "
Unfortunately right now our servers are overloaded and we have no more download slots left for non-members. Of course you can also try again later.
" Yeah, sure.
Could updates be posted to a more obliging site like MegaShare?

You're right, rapidshare is awful
I must update this program, the latest stable version was RC1 ( there is some bugs in the latest update )
I didn't make it yet because I don't know if it worth it, takes a lot of time from me and people are moving to media centers like WDTV Live....
don't know when I will launch a new version to fix some bugs

Availability on RS for free downloaders is very highly dependent on the time of the day. If you try to download the file during 02:00 to 10:00 - their server time - you are sure to get access.
In this regard I have found "mediafire" most obliging. It even allows multithread downloading for free users. Which means resume support is built in.
Another one which is good for free users is "hotfile" . With the freeware USDownloader it too permits resuming broken / interrupted downloads.
