Hi, I'm using version 2.10.02 and noticed a couple of things:

- subtitle language shows always Portuguese in the DVD player. It would be nice to have an option to select the subs language
- if I select the option "Forced subtitles" in avi2iso, the result is that the subtitles are selectable, too. They work properly as forced, but are selectable as well.. not sure if this should work this way - please clarify
- using embedded subtitles in MKV is not possible. I have to extract the subs from the MKV container to a SRT file to be able to use them in avi2iso

Otherwise, excellent software! And I have to say, I've tried them ALL :-)

Hi,

in the subtitles option tab the option "Fixed Subtitles (permanent)" makes the subtitles embedded in the video, they are impossible to be selectable. But I'm not sure if "PT" will appear, don't remember, but I think not

if you uncheck that options, then yes...it appears as "PT" ( portuguese ) in the standalone player, although the language is the right one. It is a small bug

well thanks, I thought AVStoDVD was the big horse nowadays since it is the one that is updated very often. Doesn't it work for you ?

well, I'm sure I checked the "Fixed Subtitles" checkbox because after burning the DVD, in the DVD player they showed up even with Subtitles OFF setting. So the "forced" part works. But at the same time, I could set the DVD player to "Subtitles Portuguese" with no visual change (the same subtitles on the screen). That means the function works, but also adds a selectable subtitle stream. Maybe it's a thing to consider for a small update Smiley

Why not AVS2DVD? I like your interface much better and as long as the software works, no need to change. Updating software with latest builds of helper tools doesn't always make my day Smiley
